Looking after the bereaved in your neighbourhood

There’s an exciting volunteering opportunity available in the local area.

The Haringey Bereavement service (delivered by St Joseph’s Hospice) are looking for volunteers (minimum age requirement 18) to support people who have been recently bereaved.

They will train you to be able to visit individuals in their homes, listen to their concerns and act upon them. You will be working as part of a wider service that also offers support through counselling.

Do you have good communication skills? Are you highly empathetic and non-judgemental? If so this role could be for you! It’s an amazing chance to learn new things and give something back to your local community.

For further information, please contact Simon Bennett on 0208 525 6032 or volunteering@stjh.org.uk.

You can also apply online via this link: http://bttr.im/v0lab.
