Twice winner of the ‘Young People Now’ best youth publication in the country as part of its prestigious ‘Positive Images Awards’, Exposure magazine is published quarterly, funded through advertising and sponsorships. Involved in all stages of production, young people gain confidence in their ability to make a difference in their own lives, as they tackle themes in which they are experts, turning problems faced into opportunities to educate/inform their peers and the wider community. Some 5,000 copies of Exposure magazine are distributed free across north London to secondary schools, colleges, youth groups, public buildings, libraries, sports and leisure centres.

Incorporated into Exposure magazine is an eight-page supplement addressing a particular theme important to young people. Recent supplements have focused on mental health, the dangers of alcohol, depression in young men, youth volunteering, sexual health, gangs and the care system.

Exposure edits a regular page in the north London newspaper Ham & High, promoting young people’s creative work to a wider adult audience.

Exposure enables advertisers to promote their brand, product or service to an audience of teenagers, school leavers, college students and young adults in a targeted and cost-effective way. For details download Exposure’s Media pack.

“It’s massively important for young people to voice their opinions and express talents through Exposure because the benefits are priceless.” Kristina Volchkova, 18
