Rebecca Pattni leads fundraising to help Exposure continue empowering the next generation
Exposure is amazing! Being part of their projects has shown me how mentoring, volunteering and creative campaigns open doors that are so often closed to young people, giving them confidence, skills and opportunities they might not find anywhere else. From working on the Exposure Listens podcast to seeing participants share and celebrate their diverse identities, I have witnessed the real difference this work makes. Even international programmes, like Singapore’s Ministry of Culture, have drawn inspiration from Exposure’s approach.
With an ever-precarious funding landscape, we do not want to see Exposure, now nearly 30 years old, get lost or overshadowed by bigger charities that do not offer the same life-changing experiences. That’s why I have set up a GoFundMe page, to make it easy for us all of us to contribute and help keep this incredible work alive and thriving.
Exposure is a grassroots, youth-led charity in North London that empowers 14–25-year-olds from diverse and challenging backgrounds. Through volunteering, mentoring and creative campaigns, young people explore issues that matter, develop leadership and skills and drive lasting social change. Exposure provides support, guidance and real opportunities, helping young people gain the confidence, networks and the support they need to thrive.
Your donation helps Exposure continue delivering life-changing projects for young people across North London and beyond. Contributions fund workshops, events and activities that inspire and empower; training, mentorship and guidance that build skills and confidence; and initiatives that influence policy and create opportunities for future generations.
