Alfie and his guests highlight how gratitude influences their lives

In this episode, Alfie is joined by Raphae and Sehn, as they explore how expressing thanks, whether to family, friends or teachers, can significantly impact relationships and personal growth.

Gratitude, they feel, is an unconditional act that doesn’t expect anything in return, but inspires positivity and kindness. The group reflects on everyday ways to show thankfulness, like picking up litter or leaving a tip. They recognise how these simple acts create a ripple effect of positivity.

Different cultures express appreciation in unique ways, with Raphae sharing how his community gives gifts to show thanks. Alfie believes cooking for others is a meaningful way to express gratitude, strengthening bonds and showing respect.

The conversation turns to YouTube figures, exploring the contrast between genuine gratitude and performative acts. They discuss influencers like Mr. Beast, who faces criticism over some of his challenges, versus Markiplier, whose heartfelt appreciation for his fans clearly stems from a place of real connection.

Alfie, Raphae and Sehn discuss how gratitude helps create healthier, stronger relationships. Though their opinions differ, all agree that showing appreciation, regardless of someone’s position, is essential for building respect and trust.
