Four guys from Barnet share stories of family and finding joy in small things
In this episode, Azeen, Gospel, Riyaz and Joel come together to share stories and unexpected insights as they get into the idea of gratitude. It’s a chilled, relatable chat that begins with reflections on family life.
The guys open up about their unique childhood experiences and how these impacted their understanding of appreciation. From different family backgrounds and personal challenges, they talk about the moments that taught them to value the people and privileges in their lives.
They all have their own distinct way of expressing gratitude. Riyaz finds joy in giving presents, appreciating the connection this creates with his friends and family. Gospel, on the other hand, shows his thanks by helping out around the house. Azeen expresses gratitude by supporting his younger brother.
The conversation touches on the importance of carving out space for alone time. They explore how moments of quiet reflection can create gratitude and improve mental health. Taking a moment to pause, think and recharge is something they truly value.
They appreciate how blessed they feel to live where basics, like food, a roof over their heads, and a phone in their pocket, are just a given. It’s easy to forget how lucky we are to have those things, but their chat brings this into focus.
This real, energetic exchange is full of insights, and those little moments that get you thinking. Whether you’re tuning in for the vibes or to pick up some inspiration, it’ll leave you feeling grateful for the small things that make life what it is.
