Aryan, Marie and Luke dive into gratitude and its power to shape our perspectives

In this episode, Aryan, Anna-Marie and their guest Luke share their thoughts on gratitude, a simple yet powerful concept that affects how we view the world.

They reflect on the small, everyday things they’re thankful for, like family, friends, and life’s basic comforts, and the importance of recognising what really matters.

The conversation touches on the influence of public figures on how we express gratitude. Luke shines a light on footballer Cristiano Ronaldo, noting how he uses his wealth to give back through charitable donations.

This contrasts with online influencers who appear to fake a sense of gratitude for personal gain or profit. The role of money is also explored. While it can offer freedom and opportunities to help loved ones, it can also change people, exposing the fine line between genuine and superficial gratitude.

Living in London provides unique opportunities, even for those from humble beginnings, but its fast-paced lifestyle isn’t without challenges. The mental toll of a 24/7 culture is compared to the slower pace of life in their parents’ home countries, where, despite poverty, there’s a richness in simplicity.

Finally, they express their deep appreciation for their families. For Ary and Anna-Marie, gratitude is rooted in the sacrifices their loved ones have made to provide better lives and opportunities for them. This heartfelt conversation highlights the value of pausing to reflect and give thanks for what we have.
