Lucille and her guests explore how facing change builds resilience
In this episode, host Lucille chats with her guests Trey and Lai about the joys of childhood and its carefree simplicity. They reminisce about sports days filled with beanbag throws and egg-and-spoon races, where the biggest prizes were sweets and the freedom to just have fun.
The conversation shifts to the challenges of transitioning from primary to secondary school. Trey shares how he worried about making new friends, especially after moving schools multiple times. While it was hard to fit in, these experiences helped them develop social skills and build resilience.
They talk about their time during lockdown, describing how it forced them to slow down and adapt. Trey discovered a passion for online marketing, which he turned into a source of income, while Lai focused on his photography and improving his creative skills. They all agree that, while the isolation of lockdown was tough and has left a cautious uncertainty, it has also given them strength and resourcefulness.
Looking ahead, Lucille, Trey and Lai share their hopes for creative, successful careers. Together, they explore how navigating life’s changes has shaped their perspectives and aspirations for the future.
